As we step into the new year, we invite you to explore the membership options tailored to your needs. Here’s an overview of the available memberships that might be interesting: 

Membership Options 

* BSVS (Belgian Society for Vascular Surgery)

As a member of the BSVS, you can join various educational and networking events, connect with experienced surgeons, gain invaluable insights, expand your network, and enhance your skills.

At the General Assembly dd 22/03/2025, it was decided to increase membership fees, which had never been indexed before.

The membership fees from now on are:

• Regular Member: €160/year. For fully qualified vascular surgeons, offering access to educational events, networking opportunities, and the latest updates in vascular surgery.
• Junior Member (-014 riziv numbers only): €60/year. For trainees in vascular surgery, providing tailored resources and opportunities to grow in the field.

* BYF (Belgian Young Flowmasters)

The Belgian Young Flowmasters is a work group of the Belgian Society for Vascular Surgery and comprises young ambitious vascular surgeons below the age of 41 years. BYF organizes educational events to discuss topics of our daily vascular practice in an open, dynamic and supportive athmosphere & organizes innovating workshops to optimize knowledge and surgical skills.

Membership is free when you join the BSVS — simply indicate your interest in BYF during registration.

* ESVS (European Society for Vascular Surgery)

* EVST (European Vascular Surgeons in Training) 

Receive automatic membership when you join the ESVS and indicate your interest in EVST during registration.  Intended for vascular surgeons in training.

* BAST (Belgian Association of Surgical Trainees) 

Only for trainees with -014 numbers. The Belgian Association of Surgical Trainees (BAST) was founded by surgical trainees and for surgical trainees and organises a myriad of courses, educational events and workshops. Membership is €25/year for trainees with a -014 RIZIV number.
